Mission Statement

“It is the mission of the Ansonia Police Department to protect and preserve life and property, to reduce the incidence and fear of crime, and to improve the quality of life by maintaining order and apprehending criminals. Our mandate is to do so with honor, integrity and with the highest ethical standards, while dealing with the public, at all times, with courtesy, professionalism and respect.”

The Ansonia Police Department is now hiring!  The hiring process and applications will be accepted starting July 1st, 2014.  Applications will be available at the police department, 2 Elm Street (available July 1st), or on the South Central Criminal Justice Administration website
