Notices/Announcements:

New for 2026:

  • Per Public Act 26-42, all eligible voters in Connecticut have the option of casting their ballots in elections and primaries using absentee ballots. No-excuse absentee ballots make voting more accessible for those facing impediments to in-person voting due to disability and mobility limitations, lack of transportation, childcare or caretaking duties, or work schedules. Also, the new law allows people to request an absentee ballot application to be automatically sent to them for each election.
  • For Early Voting, instead of sealing your ballot into an envelope to be counted later — part of Connecticut’s early voting practice thus far — early voters will slide their ballot directly into a tabulator, just as they do on Election Day.
