Public Works has a container for residents to recycle mattresses. Mattresses cannot be placed in bulky waste. Please call (203) 736-5945 before you bring your mattress to make sure there is room in the container.

Stormwater (MS4) Public Notice
Draft 2025 Annual MS4 Report
The City of Ansonia has prepared a draft Annual MS4 Report for calendar year 2025 in accordance with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4). This Public Notice serves as a solicitation for public participation with an opportunity for comment on the Draft Annual MS4 Report beginning February 14, 2026.
